AEON PHILOSOPHY
JEWELLERY IS HISTORY, MADE INTIMATE
The name AEON derives from the ancient Greek “αἰών” (aiōn), a word that evokes eternity, the passage of time and what endures beyond it.
At the heart of AEON is the belief that jewellery and precious objects can hold history in its most intimate form. A Roman intaglio, a signed twentieth-century jewel or a finely crafted object carries not only the hand of its maker, but traces of the lives and emotions that surrounded it.
Each piece is chosen for more than rarity. Craftsmanship, provenance and integrity matter; so does presence—the quiet, elusive power of an object to move us before we quite understand why.
AEON brings these works into the present, not as relics, but as living works of art. Their beauty belongs not only to the moment in which they were made, but to time itself.
Gina M. Woitke is the founder of AEON.
Her eye was formed from an early age in international fashion, with work taking her from Paris to Milan, London and New York.
Since 2017, she has worked alongside art and antiquities dealers at major fairs, including TEFAF Maastricht, La Biennale Paris and BRAFA, while also gaining experience at Christie’s and Antiquorum Paris.
Her instinct is supported by formal training. She is an HRD Antwerp Certified Diamond Grader and holds GIA’s AJP diploma, with further studies in applied gemmology and jewellery expertise.
Her interests centre on ancient glyptic art, signed twentieth-century jewellery and the makers’ marks that reveal the artisans and workshops behind the great maisons.
In 2026, AEON will be exhibing in the Nouveaux Horizons section of FINE ARTS PARIS at the Grand Palais.
Through AEON, she brings research and intuition together, selecting each piece for its historical resonance, quality of craftsmanship and individual character.
