A late 19th-century pendant in 18-carat gold, centred on a polychrome painted enamel portrait of a lady in Renaissance dress. The medallion is inspired by the painted Limoges enamels of the 16th century and bears the monogram AC. A small-scale example of historicist French jewellery.
